Google recently acquired Synergyse, a company based in Toronto and offering learning services for IT users. Through this acquisition, Google now offers the ability for each company to make “Synergyse Training” freely available to its employees. This application is now available for all users through a Google Chrome extension. Without interfering with the work, it offers the opportunity to learn tips and tricks over time, by clicking on a visible icon at the top of the screen in each of Google Apps for Work applications. The information is transmitted in the form of short video tutorials. They cover most of the different tools features : Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, Google+, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, and Sites.
Because the service is hosted on the Cloud, the tutorials are always updated and new features are explained reactively. The content is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese.
